Now is the time for great wild Elk viewing in Pennsylvania. Lot's of mature bulls make for almost non stop bugling.

The weekends can be busy on the small back roads, but the week days have very little traffic. It's a fun day or two, and doesn't cost a thing......well gas, of course.

I was there a year ago and I told my wife, I wouldn't want to be a resident there this time of year. Suppose you just got done working 8-10 hours at your job and just wanted to go home and relax. It would be frustrating with cars backed up going 10 mph. Anyways my wife had never heard an elk bugle before and she enjoyed it.

They sure are majestic looking! They taste good as well but getting tags out here and a place to hunt is financially prohibitive. They have the rich boys bidding on this stuff and forget the little guy.
