I had to take a sloppy mine haul road on a mountain in Nevada stuck behind a very slow moving tandem bulk truck and I still haven't had a chance to wash my truck here for all the clean vehicle folks that were looking at me like I was some kind of dirt-bag coming in to Denver. It's funny, they see me and just want to hurry up and pass me by and get away from the crappy looking filthy, dirty, messy pickup truck. Looks like a nice day ahead to send a mudflow down the neighborhood street as I wash it tomorrow.
The other picture is an old stretch of old highway 6 in Utah I took a drive down for a few miles east out of Green River and hooked up to the big road down the way. This old highway is all crumbling away as Interstate 70 is the main route these days. At one time highway 6 would take you from Provincetown, MA to Bishop, CA... I like taking the roads less traveled as much as I can. I saw not a "living" sole on this road for the miles I drove on it.
