I can understand that fascination. It's an adventure that's way more exciding then any video game they could ever produce. I don't ever see kids that play those games with a face like the one I see on your son.

I'm sure theirs a few out there that will read this and Say, ... What kind-a smack you taking dare Tamrock.

Oh! sorry. The young man is your Grandson. To me my Grandpa was the best friend I ever had. We'd go fishing, skin rabbits, look for stone artifacts and go exploring the shoreline of the Mississippi river and visit chief Black Hawks cave and drink from the spring waters inside. I remember there was all these clam shells with holes drilled in the along the banks and he told me they where all that was left from a shell button factory that was once at the site. He was a veteran of the 1st would war and fought in France. He never owned a car or held a drivers license and survived the great depression, so we did do allot of walking. His life experience's and the wisdom he handed me are priceless to me to this day.

Hoping some day here one of these 3 daughters of mine will get marriage and have a son. My youngest is looking so far the best possibility. She's pretty serious with a fine young man now. He's deployed with the Army at this time, but they have this modern age stuff, like Skype to keep them in touch with each other. I keep my fingers crossed.
