She's lonely & living with horses....

...we first saw this Elk last year, in with some horses. Just noticed she's still with them today! Wish I could have gotten a picture of her with the whole group but have so far been unable to. Guess she got left behind as a youngster and now thinks she a horse? The last picture was taken a few days ago.

squiggy....she could jump the fence now but maybe because she's not been with her kind doesn't know she can? Hopefully some elk will come by & she'll leave with them but I'm not an expert on elk so don't know if they "imprint" with whatever they're with?

No, she found her way in a little while back and closed the door behind her. She's got that look in her eyes that says she is done with the rat race....

Different animals hang together because of predators.They use eachothers senses.Where as one animal may have better eye sight,the other may have better hearing or sense of smell.
