I went to a vintage motorcycle meet in Davenport, Iowa over labor day weekend. Danny from American Pickers was there plugging her burlesque show so I had stop and have my picture taken with her.

What a sweetheart she is.... How come no pic's of them old bikes? Dang, I wish I could go back in time and pick up some of the deals on vintage bikes back 35 plus years ago. Why I didn't just give a guy the $600. for that 56' K Model I'll never know?. I just looked at all the work it needed and said I'll pass. I got rid of my 73 Super Guild in 1976 and sold a 1969 Kawasaki 238 Greenstreak in 1977 for $250.00, "it ran like a - bat out of hell-, but needed returned to factory stock" I then left Iowa to be a miner in Colo. I watched once a Kaw. 238 Greenstreak all restored to factory stock on eBay hit over $8K and not meet it's reserve. Haven't had a bike in years now.
