I was walking around my back yard today and almost took out a spider web with my face. I was lucky to see it before I walked into it. This tiny guy was busy wrapping lunch up. The spider is about as big as my little finger nail. His prey was a miniature wasp.
After getting a few pictures i saw some naked ladies in the daylily bed so I got some pictures of them as well. They are also called resurrection lilys. They don't put out any foliage until the bloom spike dies. I accidently broke two off at the ground next to my shop last week and, after laying on the ground for two days they started to open up so I stuck them in the ground and they bloomed as well as the unbroken ones.

Here's a picture of one from back in central Texas on the day we left for Idaho. This was March 27, 2007. I've looked up the name of this spider, but don't remember what it is. I believe this is the same as the one in your picture.
