Back in 73 I had a Suzuki GT 550..a real screamer, boys that had Triumph 650's didn't like me,I'd blow them off real quick.

Going over the handle bars one day cured me of riding, that was scary..never owned another bike.

GOD Bless

Chris

My "beast" was a 1981 Suzuki GS650EX. Cafe fairing, narrow straight bars, Yoshimura headers & pipe.

That had an "on/off" instead of a throttle. At least the way I rode it. Yippee!!

Was only a matter of time until I killed myself, and I sold it after one almost. I lost it on gravel and the bike went into a culvert. I kept going and skidded 60 feet on my back (over grass - thankfully). A nice tree stopped me and smashed my Simpson full-face helmet. My then two-years newlywedded wife pleaded with me to sell it, so I replaced the damaged parts and did. I miss it every spring.
