Absolutely wonderful! I never get tired of images like that. Your skill and patience show.
If I may ask, what focal length lens have you been using for photographing your birds?

Take care,

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Watercolor,I use a canon 24-105, not being a photographer I don't keep up with all the technical stuff, so I had to look back at the info that the

camera puts in the picture. So it appears to me that I keep the speeds high [who woulda seen that coming] and the f stops from f4 to f10, and a

high ISO also helps keep the speeds up. The pictures I just posted look like this---#1- 1/4000--f 9.5--ISO 1600 #2- 1/1000--f 6.7--ISO 800

#3- 1/250-- f 4.5 ISO 400--with flash. ---The flash does a great job of stopping their wings but it makes their green feathers glow.

I spend enough time on the deck in the summer that the hummers get used to me being around and will let me get close enough to touch them,

this lets me take lots of pictures at close range and by sheer luck I end up with a few pictures like you see here.

TLH. . . I appreciate you sharing the technical info for your images.
Now that they're becoming so comfortable with your presence, you'll have to start picking out some names for them :D

Thanks,
