Couldn't Resist

I took the dogs for a walk at a field across the river from the nuke plant this morning. They just recently put stop signs at all the private rail crossings and I just had to take this pic...

I'm surprised that your local railroad has not installed them sooner. It has been the safety rule (If not the law) here in Mt. to have stop signs at All private crossings for years.

From what I understand OD, the usage and/or ownership of the rails just changed hands. Before, I always saw Canadian Pacific engines. The signs say Norfolk Southern now.

My son works as an engineer on the Norfolk Southern, and routinely rides those same rails between Baltimore, up along the Susquehanna, to Harrisburg (Enola).
