Good shot of some cloud iridescence. I can only imagine what that looks like in person and it really must have been intense as I've tried to photo that phenomenon before, but it just didn't come out as I saw it.

These shots don't do it justice,kinda like the Grand Canyon,ya gotta see it for yourself.

That's so true. I had with me a couple of fellas from Saint Louis with me high up in the San Juan mountains of Colo and they were snapping pictures left and right and I reminded them to look at the beauty of it not all on the screen of a smartphone, but take a moment to see it all with their own eyes because all those picture won't hold a candle to the view with the naked eye.

Pretty similar to what we called 'sun dogs' and it does mean a weather change ahead. Which is a safe bet as the weather always changes.
