Mama Prairie Dog.

I was out riding my bike late afternoon and heading fast down hill and all the Prairie are chattering as I go through their town. Up ahead on the trail I see maybe six little baby Prairie dogs scurry across in front of me and all run into their hole with Mama standing up as if she was making sure they all came in the house with me passing by. She reminded me of Ma Kettle standing there making sure everything was alright with all her young ins from those old Ma & Pa Kettle shows I watched as a kid.

That they were. So much more fun to watch then those freaky look'n kardashians. God help us I'm trying to get a picture of some of those little prairie dogs, but they all head to the hole like marbles rolling down a drain when you get close to them. Mama calls em back in when any danger comes around. Those little ones are fun to watch they'll wrestle with each other and wonder around like a bunch of kids., but when they hear mama's bark they all hightail it back to the hole.
