Beautiful pics RG!! That cabin is gorgeous! Great job of framing the trees and the cabin together!

Sure looks like a nice little town there. What's the population? (No, won't be moving there either!)

Hard question to answer, kcm, as everybody has a different opinion. Probably about 2500 to 3000 full time residents. Full time is an important phrase, as there are many second homes here that aren't occupied year round. I've heard estimates as high as 10,000 residents during summer or ski seasons. (Probably a little high) And there are a lot of people that aren't counted by the census, but probably only a few hundred. (I'm one.) One good thing is figures show that the median income for a family here is around $70,000, and that's pretty much accurate. The bad thing is about 3/4's of that will go to a place to live. You probably won't be moving here as there's nothing available most of the time. But if you do, it's first, last, and security deposit to get started, so figure about $4,000 or so up front to move in. But if you ever pass through, not to worry, holler at me and we can put you up for a day or two!

We're due for a sub zero deep freeze tomorrow night. Heard on the radio that we haven't been below zero down here since Feb, 2015
