Few days back I came out to my shop about 5am..there was only
a pittance of left over snow from a week prior, and clear skies (took
in gazing at Jupiter for a bit with my bino's...insanely bright that morning).

Shop is a separate room built in my garage...no windows. Went back to the
house for a fresh cup of coffee about 7:30, and it was snowing pigs-n-chickens
with about 3" fresh on the ground. :BangHead:

I hate snow.

Starting the day with snow is bad enough, but NO coffee? Can we say PANIC!

Back in the truckin' days I started many a day off without coffee..not by choice, mind you.

I hated truck stops, and since most of my loads came from and went to smaller
communities, there weren't many truck stops around. Most times I just pulled off
the hwy. into a turnout area (for trucks) and sacked out there, avoiding the volume
of humanity (most of it bad) that hung around truck stops.

Quite often I'd wake up with whatever sludge was left in the thermos(s) from the
day before. Might be lukewarm, at best, but at least it was coffee..:icon_thumright:

Weaned off caffeine in 2006, and don't miss it at all. Now, I drink decaf from dusk
til dawn, and beyond. There's only .1% caffeine, but I still can't start a day without it.

Dang Jeff.
How could you drive with no coffee? Must have been rough.

I keep some filter packs stashed , and my campfire coffee pot.
If power is out the gas stove can be lit.
Should that fail( has not yet!) The campstove could be put to use. Failing that a fire in the yard would do the job.

Must have coffee....

Now THAT is a man that can't live without coffee! I have gone from 2-3 pots per day 25+ years ago to 2-3 cups per day now. I hate waking up 2-3 times per night to get rid of that coffee8-)

lol I'm up all night so Getting up isn't an issue .

Seriously though I have my first Cup around Midnight
second around 6AM
& 3rd. Round noon.
crash about 6pm, probably fall asleep around 8PM :tongue3: then when I wake up I start over.

I Used to drink Coffee continuously From Wake up till Bed Time,
When I used to Buy My coffee grounds at the Grocery store.
But if I did that with Deathwish, I Wouldn't get to sleep at all.
Or even be able to sit still long enough to Read a Post. :coffee2:

I have a heck of a time falling asleep and staying there long though as it is.

You know, on the back bumper of the car, from a distance if you squint, that looks like a representation of Jeff pushing a snow shovel, haha!
