Sounds like a fun job. The last summer I lived in the mountains I worked for a rafting outfit in Nathrop, Colorado. I didn't finish the season, because I was offered a job in Sacramento with a mining equipment company in 1987.

I was planning on doing a trip but an auto accident with resulting back injuries took that off my bucket list. My favorite picture in this group is the next to last one. I have more pictures if anyone is interested.

The top right pic in post #2 looks like they are in a bad, bad spot.

The gal on the sticks is now jammed at the front of the boat, and
it looks like the nose has curled back. Could be they are buried into
the face of a large boulder?

I ask my son about that and he said they were "shooting the tube". I have several more pictures but here are just a few more.
