So yesterday, I'm swinging a coil when I see a Red Tail Hawk swoop down and lands on a branch directly above me. I grabbed my camera and took the shot. Look to the extreme right of the picture and you will see a squirrel that is trying to avoid becoming the hawk's lunch.

Sometimes things are not what you think though. Last year I was walking in my usual photo taking spot and I saw a RTH sitting at the top of a dead tree. I located it in the viewfinder of the camera and saw it jump. I wondered what had startled it, when I saw a squirrel appear on the branch next to the hawk. I thought " I am about to get pics of a hawk catching a squirrel for a meal ". The squirrel moved closer and , believe it or not, the hawk flew away! I posted pics here of the whole ordeal including the final one of the squirrel sitting on the branch the hawk had just vacated in triumph:laughing7:
