Indeed those blue jay never stop moving. They're in and out in a flash. It's nice you got a good shot of it.

Nice photos Chris and thanks for sharing!

This reminds me of a stunt my Dad pulled one time. We had a real nice home on a quiet street in town but there was a derelict old condo across the street. Dad had a bird feeder by one of the windows out back of the house, and more or less had an uneasy alliance with the squirrels that pilfered it. When he realized they were living in the attic of the derelict building he started putting strike anywhere matches in the feeder hoping the squirrels would take them home and a mouse would light one off. I just shook my head but didn't tell him that coating them with peanut butter would probably have made the plan work. Thank God it never did. Funny thing about Dad, if the place had caught on fire, he'd have been the first one there with a water bucket.

Best wishes!

That is not what we called as kids.:tongue3:
My Mom would always correct grandpa on what he called them, as it wasn't the best terminology in front of us kids for Brazil nuts in her dialect.

There's some oak trees along the way I walk the dogs that have yielded some Acorns to bring home for my squirrels. They've been planting oak trees all over the neighborhood, as a result of my gatherings.
