Very nice Kim, I did attempt last night to get a late Harvest Moon shot ::) but I think the fog rolling in front of the moon prevented any clear shots, since I was using a tripod, oh well, at least you got a nice one! :)

Re: For those who missed the full harvest moon, & geese.

Did I ever mention, I love my camera? I really thought you folks would be sick of seeing my monthly moon shots, but if it's clear I'm going to take the shots. My goal is to print them out and have the 12 months of full moon, got 3 good months going so far, and turn them into a calendar. I think it would be neat to campare the diffrent months as I go along.

Sorry the fog ruined you shots Don.

Nice pics. We're already getting some flocks of geese flying over on their Southbound trip. I usually hunt them but I'm having sympathy problems lately. I went out for the dove hunting opener this year; Sept. 1st. It was a Saturday. One of the dove I shot was only slightly wounded and I had to put it out of its misery with my bare hands. I think, if it had been a weekday, I would have taken it to the vet. :-\

I think it's coming to that. Doesn't make me look macho though. I'd be giving up a lot. :'(

Re: For those who missed the full harvest moon, & geese.

Packer, you are still "macho". I have nothing against hunting as long as you utilize all of the animal. But I could only shoot them with my camera. I still have my compound bow, I still look for the rubbings on the trees, but.....I'd rather shoot them with my camera.

Most of it is the camera, some of it it my location, allot of it is just love of life and your surroundings :). Keep our eyes open, and your ccamera handy.
