I find macro photography is amazing . . . when I look at the detail even in tiny things, it makes me appreciate that someone smarter and wiser than I loves these tiny things too.

Looks to be a native bee. Only two wings. European honey bees have four.
Check out UC Davis web site. Dr. Thorp and Dr. MUSSEL are the bee guy's there.
