Their nest came down in a BAD wind storm this summer,they have been building it back since August.The female is the one who arranges where the sticks go,the male just delivers them.

There's a pair of eagles in my area that have been rebuilding a nest and chick lost in a hail storm.

There have been times when I used to mow there every three days within 80 yards I'd say. Here's a video of one of the fledglings waiting for a meal from one of the parents,I was about 30 feet away.
