I took these last spring along the banks of the Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, New Jersey. I cannot find any information on the house or it's occupants. I know it was built sometime after 1859. It is hard to believe it is only minutes away from many major highways and shopping malls!

And it would be, however it is located in a State Forest which prohibits the use of metal detectors, although they do allow the use of firearms for the senseless killing of innocent animals.

well heck they dont get no money if you find gold.thats the state thinking there not going to get thier share of whatever you find.tight wads.bambi taste so good.
