Hello,
here are some Pics I shot from this old castle dated since the 1300's.
Once a year the actual
owners let the visitors come in to take a look inside the castle.
It is called "Day of open doors" .They organize a party where souvenirs
are sold in order to collect money for helping the conservation and
restoration of the old castle.
Along the years the castle suffered many fires and also bombings
during the wars.
Nearby there is the old cemetery of the castle where the members of
this family are buried. Among the very old graves I saw that of an
Officer who was killed during 2 WW on the east front.
In the middle there is this pagoda which bears the name
(Temple of Peace).
You really get in touch with history in this place.
