I'll bet that was a real treat to watch them hatch and head for the water!

Was there a chance they could take the eggs with hopes that some of them would hatch?

sweet pics :thumbsup: here is one that came out of the ocean while we were surf fishing one night. She went up to the corner of the property and dug her hole and dropped her eggs !!

Those Sea turtles get how big? Huge right?

No they take them to try and figure out why they didn't hatch to help more hatch next time. As you can see about 1/2 only hatch

I used to hang on to them and get a ride when I was diving in Hawaii, they get pretty big. Of those that hatched only 2-4 will make it to 4 years

Size: 4 to 6 feet (121-183 cm).

The largest leatherback ever recorded was almost 10 feet (305 cm) from the tip of its beak to the tip of its tail and weighed in at 2,019 pounds (916 kg

Wow that is hugh I knew they can get really big but, I never heard of one that big! Thanks Bridge this is something I never expected to get a chance to see!
