Flowers around my yard in May

Well Old Dog got me started so if this bores you, blame him! :laughing7:

I walked around my yard with my trusty Canon S3 and took pictures of what was blooming around the yard.

First you have to understand that I prefer contriolled chaos. I have grassy areas and then there are areas where there are wild plants and plants that I have planted over the years. Unfortunately I don't remember the "names" of some of them so if you wish to tell me I won't be offended. :toothy4:

This first ic is an example of what I call controlled chaos; a fountain surrounded by Peppermint, a hibiscus tree, and something with berries in the fall:

Here's a big shrub I have along one side of the house (10 feet or more tall):

Wonderful pics Wes . I am glad OD talked you into posting :) I love the dollar plant. My mother had one of those when I was young. Great looking also when dried. Your flowers are as wonderful as their owner :love10: :wink: :wink:

Actually RR, they would be except that "big shrub" is blooming and is overpowering; and not too good for the sinusis(SP?) either. :-\

Wish I did Fossis but having a bit of bad luck with some seeds. I'll pm you tonight and tell ya about it.

The only thing I can think to blame Thom for is not doing this to you sooner you need to keep out there with your camera!
