Dear Friends of History and
The Ferry Slip Museum,

On behalf of our Executive Director, Cathleen DePow and our entire Executive Committee for the Ferry Slip Museum of Perth Amboy, we are pleased to announce that our own William Pavlovsky will be our guest speaker for a Sunday Lecture at the Ferry Slip Museum on September 25, 2011 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Bill’s fascinating topic will be “Lost Capital: Perth Amboy 1683-1790.” This lecture will include an enlightening slide presentation as well.

Bill is widely recognized for his expertise in restoration architecture and his work over the years at the Proprietary House. He is the chairperson for the Perth Amboy Historic Preservation Commission and he is the most widely recognized historian for the distinguished long time history of one of New Jersey’s oldest cities, Perth Amboy.

A donation of $5.00 is asked and a light dessert reception will follow the question and answer time. If you cannot attend, please remember the museum with a contribution to help us promote our museum and our local history.

Sincerely yours,

Donald J. Peck
Program Chair
