You might talk to the Director of the Big Spring Heritage Museum at 510 Scurry. You might offer him 'a deal' to place in his museum artifacts you find as a result of he giving you leads. Of course the Big Spring State Park has been there for over 70 years (and around the old spring, itself) should be a source for many artifacts.
Don....

Thanks, Don...

My bro lent the museum and old gun and badge that had been worn by his wife's ancestors.
When she went back 6 months later it was gone. Wont be using them :'(

like scenic mountain, too, but neither allows digging. wouldnt want to get caught by the law....

prefer the fields around. it has been dry, so by the end of March, should be more uncovered.

will look at the maps, tho

thanks again

Welcome to TNET. I have stopped by there many of times at the TA truck stop enroute to California. Western TX seems to be laid back compared to other populated parts

Just reminded me of Brother Dave Gardner saying "I looked all over Big Spring for that Big Spring but I never found it"
