Hi all. We are from the the West side of Northern Michigan and got our daughter a metal detector for her Christmas gift and have found that now that the snow has melted it's our new family hobby. She jumps with joy everytime it makes a tone. Have found a few coins, oldest was a penny from 1959 and a nickel too. Also found a Gucci silver tag and many bulllets. Some railway spikes and this very interesting lightweight rock, that actually floats that is hard, black and appears to have silver running through it. It was in a broken mason jar. Very strange, no idea what it is, but kept it anyway. Also while out on our walk I found an antique Mountain Dew glass bottle that after some discussion with an antique dealer is from the 50's and is in absolutely perfect condition. So that's what we've found so far. Hoping to start finding some more interesting things soon.
Have a Happy Easter Everyone.
