Hello from New Jersey

I'm not a newbie when it comes to metal detecting, but a newbie on this site. I'm glad to be here, I have been metal detecting for 19 years.
I hope to learn from the site, and contribute some of my knowledge. As of this time NJ is preparing for a major storm hurricane combining with a nor'easter. They say it's going to be a perfect storm. Well as you might guess I will be detecting the Jersey shore after things settle out. I never really had the chance to detect after a major storm, But you can bet I will detecting after this storm.

Mixed emotions here I have to worry about the power going out and the sump pump not working, which = basement flood. Trees coming down, roads flooding.
On the other hand I'm thinking about all the nice jewelry I may pick up on the 4 beaches I am planning to hunt.

I'll most likely be out there Saturday Nov. 3, that's my plan if possible. I swing a Garrett AT Pro, and I will bring my fisher CZ 5 since it has duel frequencies, it works well on beaches and surf. I'm curious to see if the AT Pro will work out there.
