Newbie South Alabama using White's DFX 300

HI Ya'll! New to detecting and enjoying it. I use a nice White's DFX 300 and have access to several early 1900 home sites and some nice trash (treasure) dumps.

    Currently working turpentine still site.

Any advice for the White's DFX 300 is welcomed.

Welcome for Middle, TN. Bought my DFX in late 2004. Just sold it about 3 weeks ago. Great machine. Go to the White's website and search for DFX instructional videos. There is a ton of info there. Also go to youtube and do the same. A lot of stuff to learn but it's a great machine. Good luck

Welcome to the forum from Massachusetts!

I have the DFX and V3i fun machines to play around with while detecting....enjoy yours!

Visit YouTube and go to White's Detector forums. There is also a book written by Jeff Foster..."Digging Deeper with the DFX" (I believe that's the title).

At the end of the day if my family build another memory that is the "real" treasure we all can find, and have fun while doing it.

ďFor he is Godís servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out Godís wrath on the wrongdoer.Ē Romans 13:4

"I have fought against the people of the North because I believed they were seeking to wrest from the South its dearest rights. But I have never cherished toward them bitter or vindictive feelings, and I have never seen the day when I did not pray for them." General Robert E. Lee

"My religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me, that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave." General Stonewall Jackson

"There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter." Ernest Hemingway
