Metal Detecting
Just got into detecting a couple months ago with a coworker after gaining interest through YouTube videos. After borrowing another friends Prizm II and dinking around without a proper digger and pin pointer one time, I got a used MX Sport off craigslist and ordered a digger/pin pointer online, started in my yard to learn the basics (only ever used a detector for a hour in my life) then upgraded to my local parks after obtaining the required permits. No stellar luck so far but have found a few silver coins, a ton of clad, and various junk jewelry. No gold dance yet.
Needless to say I am hooked, I’ve gone out every single weekend since starting in this awesome hobby, and am looking forward to years of finding my precious treasures! (Most people look at my treasures and say, “ohhh cool...”)
