New to the Hobby - Gerrardstown WV

    Hey all!

James here, from Gerrardstown WV. Just ordered a Minelab Equinox 600. I've wanted a detector for as long as I can remember. Can't wait to get out there and start hunting!

Welcome to T-Net from Michigan! Plenty of treasure out there for you too! I believe I have cleaned out most of the pulltabs east of the Mississippi River but let me know if I've missed some!

Digging in the dirt & scooping in the water!
Welcome! When you get that EQ just take your time and listen to what the dirt tells you. Solid signal both directions is a dig.

Thank you! I was planning on tossing some silver (coins and rings) and gold (ring) on & under the dirt in my yard to familiarize myself with tones and settings. I appreciate the advice!
