Welcome. Check your local and country's laws. There should be a lot of advice on devices. I'm thinking a lot of sand som you may need a machine that goes DEEP. Make sure you have a pinpointer and a proper digging tool. Look everywhere. Research where old sites are and where they are under development. Don't leave holes. Woi.

I would contact the US Army and see if they any used "mine sweeps" they would loan you. I understand that YES there are artifacts in Lybia, but in the ground are thousands of land mines. SO BE VERY careful.

Welcome from Delaware in the USA. Garrett AT Pro is a good all round machine, easy to use, waterproof. I would advise to dig very carefully if you think you may be anywhere near an area that may have been mined!
