I've been lurking here for years but finally decided to come out from the shadows and get involved. Nice to e-meet you all!

I'm an all-around treasure junky with a deep passion for research and information. I particularly love anything related to personal history (genealogy, old diaries, and used postcards - in fact - I just reconnected a total stranger with a piece of their personal history for the first time. So fun!) but I'm genuinely fascinated by just about anything. I've been known to spend days researching a knife handle I found on the beach or learn everything I can about vintage iridescent glass (specific 'cause it's true).

Anyway, I hope to be helpful and also learn a ton! See you 'round the boards!
