It didn't take long for Makro to make improvements to the original and give what users want with the Makro 2 such as the ability to save settings, notch, iron audio, better range of visual id and a Deep Mode....It was just a little over a year ago since the Racer was released and immediately made the changes...From watching videos and chatting with owners of the Racer and Fors Core, these single frequency detectors can handle salt water beaches very easily with no falsing. That is impressive....Going to wait for the reviews on the Racer 2 to see how well it performs...Glad I held off from purchasing the original Racer!...
