This past Thursday a very old mill house was torn down in town. Small shoebox house on a probably 40X50 foot lot. Friday it got slammed and Saturday also by 6-8 different people and machines. Sunday afternoon I eased in there with the R-2 for about an hour and a half. Got 3 silvers several wheats and a bunch of clad. You talk about a place full of metal and scraps! The R-2 has never disappointed me.

Eased back in there I think Wednesday afternoon after it rained Monday night and Tuesday and the lot had been hayed in and seed thrown. No silver but another mess of old clad and wheats and a 1944 Filipino 5 cent piece, I thought it was a fatty it's so thick.

The middle of last week eased into my testing grounds with the Nokta Relic and well it found me some more stuff, several wheats and a Merc dime. I've dug a bunch of stuff off that couple of lot's.

Hello Jack. I just received my Racer 2 from Turkey two weeks ago. I've maybe got twenty hours on it if that and am learning it very quickly. I also own the Red Racer 1 for over a year so the learning curve is a bit easier for me than some. I have several after market coils for my Makro Racers. I'll list them in case you may have questions about their performance. Stock Makro RC29 11x 7, RC13 4.5 x 5, RC 26 5.5 x 10, Nel Snake coil 4 x 6 er so, Nel Tornado coil 12 x 13, and the Mars Tiger 10 x 13 coil. I've been hunting in fields and woods mostly this spring until the vegetation and bugs drive me out. Today I used the RC26 5.5 x 10 coil for the first time in some dense heavy iron infested woods. I love this coil for snagly shrub infested woods already. Reminds me of the Whites 6 x 10 which I was using on my M6 Matrix for woods hunting. No openings to snag on. I use the coil and shaft like a hocket stick to smack crap out of the way ! LOL ! No joke. I abuse my machines as much as anyone I know. Hunting the thickets and woods can be a pain in the backside and having a heavy duty machine to shove stuff out of the way comes in handy. Love the Racer 2 already and looking forward to cleaning up with it. BTW, I love the pictures of the trash. Keeping it real and digging everything in sight. That's how you get the good stuff mate. Much appreciated. Peace 006.JPG

Hey Jack. I just got my Racer 2 upgrade two weeks ago. I am loving it. I ran the Red Racer 1 for over a year so the learning curve isn't too bad. I also have a hefty stable of coils for my Racers. Stock Makro RC13, RC26, RC29, Nel Snake & Tornado, & a Mars Tiger coil as well. I ran the RC26 today for the first time in some snagly shrub & iron infested woods today. I loved the 5.5 x 10 inch closed bottom coil for banging around in the brush. I use it like Bobby Hull to smack stuff out of the way. So far I am very impressed with the Racer 2. Been mainly hunting fields & woods in north central Illinois until the weeds and bugs chase me out. The farmers too come planting time. I've only got a handful of coins so far but, the first one was a 1950 wheatie & second an 1890 Indian so at least they're keepers. Got a few neat relics today in the woods. A tiny .22-250 bullet or maybe even smaller. The huge .50 caliber slug. I don't have any idea what that beast was doing where I found it. And an old Davenport & Mallory padlock brass keyhole plate. Davenport & Mallory were in business from 1834 to 1910. I need to find some coins dating back to this period. Get some more mate. Peace. 006.JPG
