This morning I looked for 21/2 hours in a field that has produced for me in the short time I have had permission to hunt it. The turtleback scraper is the largest I have ever found. My pictures do not do the points justice. I'm still on a high from what I found!

Not bad for 2 1/2 hours. Not bad at all.
What's that red material? It's beautiful.

It is coastal plains chert. This field has a lot of colorful chert in it.
