I picked up a collection from Bollinger Co, Missouri a couple of days ago. There are about 2700 points, 18 axes, and a few other pieces. The top pieces were the big Hopewell piece, the cobbs knife, The reel gorget which is made of cannel coal and the quartz boatstone. The collection was picked up over a period of 50 years.

Boy that is a pretty big collection. I am sure that represents many miles and hours for somebody. Thanks for showing.

Very nice looking collection you bought mooch. There are some great looking pieces in there. Those pieces in the first few pictures are top of the line. I cringed though when I saw all of those points and stone tools piled up in those containers and banging against each other. I wonder just how chips and dings are on the points because of that. I hope you get them all out and into trays real soon.

The first thing I noticed was the stuff piled up in the box. Like steve said. Get that out of the box and seperated from touching each other. I have found so many broken pcs and been disappointed. It seems crazy to take a chance at damaging them after we find them. Keith.
