my friend john said the pelican lake point is about 3500 yrs old
is that about right?
i didn't know a bow and arrow was used in this area that long ago?
anybody know??
i think the more i learn the more i am finding that idon't really know very much about a lot of this stuff

thanks flintdigger,
the pelican lake is not common, we only find a few each year
the prairie side notch is very typical and it is mostly what we find,......and not so old
the jaw notch version (of the side notch type) is always the nicest quality
steve
