These were in a stream next to each other. I've been told the bigger one ALMOST looks like a birdstone and could be, if made by a child. both are silky soft. the canoe looking one is so soft its hard to pickup.

And the little one looks like a canoe ? Trust me if it was a bird stone you would know it. I have only found the head of one. Mother nature is killing us with look a likes. Worth picking up.

It does almost! But you know what they say about almost. Only count with horse shoes and hand grenades. Good eye though, too make the comparison!

I wanted to add, don't let any one in here kill your imagination. If you don't look for such items, nor think you are capable of finding them, you won't. Definitely a great start. That canoe shaped item would look like a bar weight if perforated. The other one does look like a Birdstone minus all the work. Check those first ones for predrilled spots. They did have preform items. That would be a spot usually in the middle if they were going to be weights.
