Northwest Missouri creek hunting, manage to fine Ice Age Bison bones, but i have yet to find any stone artifacts. Could this perhaps be a preform or something?

It may just be natural from creek tumble. Though it looks worked it is probably nothing. You are in a great area. Did you se the Missouri artifact show we had on here. You guys got some killer stuff.

Thanks, the avatar picture is an African war axe. I have sorta traced it back to a (lot) i saw in a museum site, if not exact, pretty close. But an Ohio lawyer took an expedition back in 1907 to i think Zimbabwe. He reportedly brought back many of them and sold them to the museum.

I hear ya on finding some. Check out the 4 post called "winter time blues" they are from your area. That is a nice axe !!
