Went on a short walk at a field that I've hunted for years. Was'nt really expecting to find much, the last few years has'nt gave up alot. That was'nt the case yesterday. First piece was the thumb scraper which would have made my walk but less than ten feet away was the piece that I'm thinkin is a snyder's or hopewell. Then it was game on. The smaller broken piece's would have been some smoker's. Those were made from really choice material, mostly harrison cty flint. On my way out of the field, not thinkin my day could get any better, I strolled across a lil' sandy knob that has gave only a few piece's up and BAM!!!!! Only the ear was stickin out but I knew it was gonna be a BEAUT if whole. Well I held my breath and WOW!! In my hand I was holdin a KILLER thebes!!!! I wish my phone would'nt have died because it would have made some great instu pic's.. Now I'm ready to hit all my field's with a new fever.. Thanx for the look.. HH

It sure looks like a Hopewell to me.. and a nice one at that.
I'm sure there are some folks who would be looked at as a better candidate for ID. help in your area I don't want to step on any toes...... but it looks like a Hopewell to this Florida boy.
