Ooohhh..this should be good.
Good idea rock.
I will go find a couple.
That small black one looks like a broken point.
Same with the last one.
I also see several flake knives..and the two pictured together look like a type of Hafted scraper.
Once you see an entire tool kit from one site you will probably realize a large majority of pieces served a purpose for the moment and that's that.
Not everything will fall neatly into a catagory.

I thought pressure flaking tool on the Flint one at first..but I don't see the normal use wear on those.

Gator, the flint piece looks like a small flaked or chipped adze. Well... going by the angles shown. Here is one for comparison.

Thanks but definitely not an adze.
Mabey the photo isn't good.
I'm positive that round piece of yours is natural.
And the "bar" looks like an atlatl weight.

What makes you think it has been heated?
It doesn't show any tool marks or other signs that it has been molded into that shape by a person.
Looks like the result of an air pocket in natural clay.
Is it tempered? I don't see anything that looks like temper material.
Lets see the other side.

Rusty that large dark brown stone reminds me of a club or a beavertail jack. I found something yesterday that looks just like that in shape, but only about 2" long. The head is thicker than the tail. Mine looked like it was made of very weathered speckled rhyolite or granite too. I threw it back down though. That is definitely a strange rock.

This is my most unusual tool. From a predominately Kirk site at Orange Lake, called Heagy's.

Wow! That is definitely different!
Looks like a bow tie axe but never saw a bit shaped like that... Mabey it was used as a kind of Hafted spokeshave.
I got some nice stuff back in the day when they would lower the water in Orange lake for de-mucking.

I don't know if this is some kind of small blade, it looks finished. I don't think its a core.

Alot of times a core was utilized as a tool when it got to the point that no more useable flakes could be removed or.. the maker just needed a quick tool for a certain job.
That being so little might just be a micro tool like a little knife or drill though.

The core idea makes sense, I've found 4 or 5 similiar ones that looked like cores. This one just looked more finished than the other ones.
