Did pretty well, small morrow mountain, few nice blades, one possibly a graver??, the long point is stylei never saw before, 4 inches long and very narrow, definite rounded base and shallow side notches, any ideas?

See! Theres a clue of why there are no pictures. :laughing7:

Wow that's a nice one ..nice hunt!
I'm just guessing here but Mabey try looking at MacPherson or Bakers creek points to see if they have a bulbus stem variant.

I,m in central VA, from what i've been reading the closest type that even remotely fits is a halifax, the stems on those usually expand though. This thing has perfectly straight stem edges, very long and narrow, and that rounded bulbous base, odd.....

Nice finds! Can't help with ID, it does look like a Halifax except the large size. The quartzite knives are cool, I find similar ones around here. Thanks for the view, HH.

Halifax points are normally small. That is a monster. Wish I could help. Looks like a dovetail but I'm not sure they are found around us.

Awesome finds! Definitely worth the wait! That long one is amazing- is it a quartzite? and how long? looks like maybe 4"? Thanks so much for the peek- I need to look around more when I go down to visit my dad in VA... ;)
Happy Hunting-
Yak
