Looks like it could of been at one time it is missing the tip. Could of been a knife it has allot of stain on it. Creek find?

Yeh it was a creek find. I would like to put it with my other artifacts, but just do not want to mix anything that is not a real Indian artifact. The creek was in new Egypt New Jersey.

Allot of mother nature points in the creek. I guess you will have to make that final call as to what it is. You can always put it under a scope and look for marks to see if there was any work done on it. If it is a type of quartz they can get water worn from sand and tumble.
