I went for a walk today at the mouth of a creek and didn't really have much luck but that all changed very fast !!! I really can't describe in words how I felt when I looked down and saw this base sticking out of a one or two day old footprint . It took me ten minutes before I finally pulled it out very slowly . I still can't believe I found this it doesn't seem real . A guy like me just doesn't get that lucky . I looked around to see if someone was playing a joke on me but didn't hear anyone laughing . Nothing I've found comes close

Wow…I am glad that one was found so that we can all enjoy it…when you say a boot print, do you mean that someone walked over it before you? I hope for that guy's sake he never knows what he missed…congrats…I guess you can stop looking now because you found the best!

Congratulations on making the banner! I tried clickiing the picture on the banner to link to this thread but was told I didn't have permission to view the thread. I found it by trial and error. Is anyone else having that problem?

So what does the die-hard collector shell out for such an example? Is this a $500 point? I love points, but haven't had the pleasure of hunting for them very often--only found a few broken ones... Is this the 1916-D of arrow hunt hunting, or even scarcer?

WOW.....a 1916-d for $5,that seems like a great deal. cumberland points are rare and quite often fakes on ebay, even with a coa. authentic cumberlands are worth at least $1000.00 per inch in the higher grades, same with clovis. this point looks more like a genuine clovis to me but i am no expert.
