Don't know sure has that toothy look doesn't it?Reminds me of a spinosaurus tooth size seems right.Cool what ever it is.The hole through it is a little odd as well.
Here's what they look like but you'll have to find out if they where in west Virginia I guess.

thanks for the replies! it does resemble a whale tooth but i think horn coral is correct. so now.... how did it get in that creek? native fossil or fossil pollution?
