I did a search for your region and it looks like it may be a Mississippian lanceolate, possibly a ''Dallas'', ''Guntherville'' or ''Ichetucknee''. You may want to better research it, just trying to help even though not from your area. Awesome find!
I' love 'em , cause they're so old. Right on that Early Archaic/Paleo time line
They tend to pretty worn out when you do come across them. That's the name of my screen shaker, "Ms. Agate" as it was the first point I found on her.
Lone Star
Painter - I have found similar points in your region and they're a bit of a stumper for me. I believe they're an early archaic point. I don't think they're a Stanfield proper but possible related. I entertained the idea of Agate Basin but that doesn't fit for a couple of reasons. I also thought about a Tennessee River knife (see Red Tully's books) but I think what you have is earlier. That's a great example and that Olive / Purple seems to be a common material for the type. I'm sorry I can't provide anything concrete, only I've searched the same search and haven't typed it quite yet.
