Help with identification

I found this on the 102 river in SW Iowa near Missouri Iowa border it is 4 7/8 inches long and inch and a half across the rounded bottom. Can someone identify please and thank u.

without being exact i would call it a lanceolate point, most likely a knife but could be a spear tip, somewhere about paleo or so...lets say, 4 to 8000 years ago.

Awesome I was hoping that would be an answer this was on a creek half mile off the river excited to go back and find more. I know this isn't a certainty but my first paleo find if it is

From the shape I would say knife, but it also looks like the one side toward the front of photo has been reworked:icon_scratch:. It's a nice find:thumbsup:
