Not sure what everybody else thinks or what you're calling it rock but I think that first one is a SantaFe Dalton

I was hoping you could tell me. I know the broken base in the middle has a flute on it.

It's not a Quad. Those have a noticeable waist and oracles as well as grinding at least two of the three of them should be present none of them are
rock..is it ground down on the edges towards the base?
If not.. It's a Santa Fe

There are so many styles of Daltons it could be a Colbert Dalton since they are found in that area, but it just does not have a inward shape at base edge on the outside edge, if that makes sense(I've been on the road to long). Does this have a lot of base grinding and I'm going to just throw this out there could it be an unfluted Clovis. See if we can get Reaper to come in for the kill on this:laughing7:he seems to be very good at typing points. It is a great find Rock, one for a frame.:notworthy:

The interesting part about the SantaFe Dalton in particular is that in recent years it was reclassified after years of thinking it was a transitional paleo piece it's now considered to be late Archaic and Early Woodland and not really Dalton at all.. They have a thinner flatter cross-section than Dalton do not display grinding and are found in association with sand tempered pottery
