How long is the hoe? With a pic of the bit it may be easier to positively identify.

5 inches long and in that form in my humble opinion is not a hoe, but more likely an adze.

Nice finds! Nice blade and a mighty fine hoe ( or adze, hard to tell from pics.). Must be optical illusion, hoe ( or adze) looks more than one inch longer than the knife blade, but nice pieces for sure, way to go!
