Looks like a nice game stone to me, I would consider that a nice find, if you don't want it I will take it.

It sure looks interesting Rock…when I look at the pics of it in your hands I could almost say it looks natural…but in that in situ pic it is stark how it stands out to the natural stones around it and is obviously worked…I don't know what constitutes a disc or game stone, but this find might be one of your most unique, if not your best..awesome!

How cold was that water?

Well it was 32 degrees when I left the house and the creek is spring fed. My hands are red so it was pretty cold. I hated walking in it cause the water stays in my boots till I take them off. But it was fun just being out in the quiet. Then the neighbor down stream got out his machine gun and started blowing off rounds then the quiet went away.

Thanks when I saw it I knew it was different. Ive never seen to many green stones in the area here so I decided to pick it up. I always just pick things up and put them in my pocket and when I get home some will just be rocks with a nice shape. But even after it dried it still looked like something worth asking about. In the big pic of finds the broken point bottom left I thought was a scraper till I got home and saw it was more. Strange break on it almost like it was broke during making and tossed. Interesting piece. Thanks

Game stone no doubt and I might add, that's a nice one! Can I have it? :laughing7:

My first stone one so I will say no. But thanks for asking. Im hoping more will turn up on my next trip out there. I got my old creek back with permission by the owners. My new creek connects to it about a mile up. Im as happy as I can be. So now I have another mile or so of creek with permission from the owners to hunt.

Of course I know that. I found a pottery disc one time and gave it to a relative. Wish I had it back now. It would look good together.

Very nice disk/game stone find Rock, and it is a very good keeper.

Have you ever seen one made out of Green stone before? I have a book and it says they were all different sizes. This size being the average.
